These terms cover the use of Field Safety IQ, a safety and HR platform for construction companies. If your company has a signed agreement with us, that agreement wins wherever it says something different.
1.Who these terms are between
“We” and “us” means Field Safety IQ. “Customer” means the company that subscribes, and “users” means the people it invites — directors, admins, foremen and workers. The customer is responsible for who it invites and what they enter.
2.Your data stays yours
The customer owns everything its users put into Field Safety IQ. We only use it to provide and support the service, as described in our privacy policy. The customer can export its data at any time and can ask us to delete it.
The customer is responsible for having the right to collect the information it keeps here about its employees, and for telling them how it is used.
3.Using the service
- Keep sign-in details private, and tell us if you think an account has been compromised.
- Don’t try to access another company’s data, break the service, or use it for anything unlawful.
- Don’t resell or copy the service without our written agreement.
4.It supports your safety program — it doesn’t replace it
Field Safety IQ is a tool for running and recording a safety program. It is not legal, medical or engineering advice. Talk topics, checklists and templates are starting points; the customer remains responsible for its safety program, for meeting OSHA and other legal obligations, and for the accuracy of what is recorded and filed.
In an emergency, call 911 first. Report in the app after.
5.Fees
Pricing is per active worker, per month, as set out in the customer’s order or agreement. We will give notice before any price change takes effect.
6.Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and the field app usable offline, but we can’t promise it will never be interrupted. We improve the product continually; if we remove something a customer relies on, we will give reasonable notice.
7.Ending the service
A customer can stop using Field Safety IQ at the end of its billing period. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or goes unpaid, after notice where we can give it. When a customer leaves, it can export its data first; we delete it afterwards as described in the privacy policy.
8.Liability
The service is provided as is, to the extent the law allows. Neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees the customer paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9.Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell customer administrators before the change takes effect.
